Lots of different types of trainings, have still got trainings going on for relevant topics even after 8 months.

I feel like on the job training has been more beneficial but the lunch grad trainings you can pick up different tips and tricks

Training week was long but was informative as to the BDO culture. We had brief trainings on different aspects of the job. I went to audit from the start so missed the specific BAS training. When we returned after 3 months there was not a formal training for us which I feel I missed out on. But I was lucky I had a good supportive buddy who taught me the processes.

I find the informal training such as learning as you complete the jobs and through review points is the most helpful way for me. Some of the formal training is very helpful, especially for areas that I am still uncertain about and have completed to many tasks doing.

I think more formal training could be done to ensure everyone is on the same page around certain areas of work. It's hard when word of mouth is the source of info as it can miss out some people

Lots of training for accounting situations and treatments that come up. There's a good commitment to upskilling the staff because it makes the managers jobs easier when they review the work. Skill I've picked up, just general business and accounting skills.

Buddy system, constant feedback, weekly graduate trainings, week-long induction

Informal training within my team is good, on the job I am helped with anything and everything to do with the jobs I'm doing. However, there is much less formal training than I expected. I think there needs to be more every 1-2 weeks for the BAS service line.

The training programs at BDO are good as a member of the tax team. We have regular tax training sessions and tax updates which helps keep us upskilled. Because my team also does BAS work this means I get to be involved with BAS trainings also which means I get exposure to both tax and BAS trainings which is good for my development.

The general training that was given to all graduates was good as it focused on team-building and company values. There did not seem to be much in the way of formal training for corporate finance which did make it a bit more difficult when completing tasks and knowing where to start on different engagements.

BOLD trainings help us gain an basic understanding of each topic

I feel like I learn the most from making mistakes. We have regular trainings at a high level so can be hard for someone to understand at a junior level.

The training is excellent, I feel as though it can be a little behind in the schedule of what specific sections we are completing which is not helpful

For my department there was no formal training process although there are plenty of videos internally, we can view

I love those trainings, especially the three days training in the nice hotel!
