Gender Equality at Beca New Zealand

Gender equity matters to us. We are working hard to make Beca an equitable and inclusive place for everyone regardless of their gender.

Achieving gender balance is important to us. We have gender targets in place to keep ourselves accountable and actions to help us achieve these targets:

  • We review and externally report our gender pay equity statistics with the goal of maintaining it within a range of +/-1%
  • We support women to attend external leadership programmes to enhance their development into senior leadership roles.
  • We review all our internal processes including promotions, performance and remuneration for gender equitable outcomes.

Beca is a founding member of The Diversity Agenda in New Zealand and signatory of the Diversity Accord with the goal to enhance diversity within the Engineering and Architecture professions.
