Māori & Pasifika at Beca New Zealand

We value our place within the Pacific. We work on projects across the Pacific Islands and currently have offices in both New Caledonia and Fiji. When you join Beca, we can connect you with an active and welcoming Pasifika network to connect and celebrate Pasifika cultures and language.

We aim to better reflect our broader communities, which means that we have created pathways for more Pasifika to join us at Beca including our long-term relationship with South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students (SPIES) Network, our partnership with TupuToa and our commitment to interviewing all students, with relevant studies, who identify as Māori and/or Pasifika.

Te Ao Māori

Beca aims to provide an environment where Māori employees feel safe, valued and able to build a successful career. To support you in this we have a Māori affinity network that you can join to be connected with others.

Beca has in place a Māori business strategy led by Māori with the goals of better engagement with iwi; better client care; and being better Treaty partners.

We have a programme of work currently underway to lift the cultural competency of all our Beca New Zealand employees.

All Māori applicants for a Graduate role, with relevant studies, will receive an interview with us.
