Part of our vision for Inclusion and Diversity at Contact is to build a One Contact culture where inclusion is deeply embedded as part of our Tikanga and our people are able to be their true selves.

We were proud to have been be awarded the Rainbow Tick since 2018 and the work continues to make our organisation a safe, welcoming and inclusive place for people of diverse gender identity and sexual orientation. The term 'Rainbow' includes people who are LGBTTI+, people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, takatāpui, intersex and other people who don't feel they fit the conventional ideology when it comes to gender or sexual identity. 

We’ve done some important work so far and this includes establishing our first Rainbow Networking Group, publishing a Gender Transitioning Guideline to support our people and Rainbow Tick Leader Workshops.
