I am a graduate and the graduate program at FH is structured: - To allow accounting graduate to rotate within various parts of the business (region, civil, major projects, alliance, joint venture etc.,) and be exposed to various accounting areas such as management accounting, project accounting, financial accounting etc., so that when graduates apply for permanent positions within the company they have the right set of tools to help them excel - Excel training - There are many learning & development workshops on offer organised by the L&D department. Easily accessible to anyone and can sign up for free - Tax training - Basic management accounting training - Everybody within FH is always open and willing to pass on their knowledge and expertise but, you need to ask

Graduate programme is very good. Consists of 4 graduate summits with all the other grads where we have courses and get to network. Would be hard to imagine there is a better graduate programme in the country.
Graduate, Palmerston North

Graduate, Auckland
Don't think we have the best development program, nothing is clear and well instructed. Needs so much improvement and plan.
Graduate, Whangārei
Since starting at Fulton Hogan, I was introduced to CCS Candy where I was quite used to using Microsoft Excel, having great leaders around the workspace where who I could lean to for guidance and where they are happy to lend a hand when needed.
Graduate, Auckland
We have 4 graduate summits where we learn about FH cultures, programming and project management, last planner, estimating and etc. We are assigned mentors and do monthly catch-ups. FH also provide monthly learning delivery plan (compliance and technical skills, frontline leaders modules etc)
Graduate, Auckland
We get to go to our seminars which are very interesting and its great to meet the other grads from different regions. The on the job training is different per department. The best training I have received is one on one. Having a structured syllabus for the graduate programme so that we know what we will learn on each rotation would be very useful. this way we could track out learning and FH would be able to see results of the recourses they are putting into us.
Graduate, Palmerston North
I haven't been on any training yet. However would like more on the job training for certain tasks.
