Culture at Jarden

9.3
9.3 rating for Culture, based on 9 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
The culture at Jarden is phenomenal, especially compared to the stories I hear from other banks. I feel supported and a valued member of the team, despite being the most junior. This is both in a social setting and in work.

The culture is fairly flat across and I feel like I can approach even the most senior people to ask questions. There is a big social culture and events are regularly put on, particularly for analysts and associates.

Have found the culture to be very supportive and engaging for juniors. Usually head out for drinks on Friday and have fun often when working late during the week

The culture at Jarden is one of the highlights about working here. Not only whilst working and collaborating with people is it a friendly and supportive environment, but also outside of work we go for runs together, play in a social touch team and attend numerous corporate runs.

Flat structure - as expected prior to joining the team. Good to hang out with team at drinks, dinners etc..

Reasonably flat structure

The structure and hierarchy works really efficiently at Jarden. There are two things to comment on - in terms of contributing to ideas/approachability, the structure is really flat and all opinions are valued. By the same token, as a junior who is inexperienced, you always have the seniors to ask for help or explain a concept or idea you don't understand. Work that you complete also goes up though the chain before it is delivered to clients as a quality control measure. Socialising amongst colleagues is a great strength of our floor. We regularly participate in social events such as the JPM corporate challenge, a weekly touch football team, and there are always people around to eat dinner with or go for casual drinks on a friday evening.
