Our Consulting team is one of the fastest-growing teams in KPMG and is widely respected for our range of management and risk consulting solutions and our depth of capability.

At KPMG we design and deliver a wide range of services that help organisations to overcome and respond to significant challenges or opportunities – and in so doing perform better operationally, financially, and strategically, as well as ensure that they meet external regulation and scrutiny.

We're an issues-based consultancy that uses a significant toolkit of global, regional and locally based KPMG methodologies, approaches, solutions, IP and experience, to resolve our clients' specific problems and help them capitalise on their opportunities.

As a Risk Consulting Intern at KPMG you could work on anything from Business Strategy, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Infrastructure Projects, Project and Program Management, Process Automation, or Technology Strategy.

You:

  • Approach new tasks and challenges with enthusiasm and optimism
  • Quickly build rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and different levels
  • Can balance multiple commitments and maintain effectiveness during times of pressure
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
  • Build trust and credibility with others through open and honest communication
  • Clearly identify the relevant data or information needed to make decisions or add value

Us:

  • A locally owned firm where all decisions are made in New Zealand
  • Receive support from your buddy, manager, and the Graduate Experience team
  • Attend KPMG's Intern induction day
  • Work on exciting engagements and navigate some of New Zealand's largest business tax requirements
  • A diverse whānau made up of people from different backgrounds
  • Meet key clients and visit their offices, often working from their sites
  • Help fuel New Zealand’s prosperity by doing work that matters

Together for Better

  • Exciting opportunities for career growth and development
  • A supportive and collaborative environment
  • Flexible style of working dependent on individuals needs and work demands
  • Join a large global firm
  • Become part of an Intern cohort and make connections for life
  • Everyone has the confidence to speak up and share their ideas
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with clients to deliver real results
  • Attend boat cruises, annual ski trip, virtual events and more through the Social Club
