LGBTQ+ at Lightspeed

We’re committed to transforming our organic culture of inclusivity into one that is well-supported by a structured framework.

One way we hope to promote inclusion and belonging is with Lightspeed’s Employee-led Networks (ELNs). 

Our ‘Pride at Lightspeed’ network aims to advance the LGBTQ2S+ community at Lightspeed, increase opportunities for those aspiring to lead and ensure equity in our workplace. This network increases diversity by encouraging and facilitating the development of people within our LGBTQ2S+ community.

At Lightspeed, diversity and inclusivity aren’t just part of our mission—they’re embedded in our DNA. Not only was our company founded in Montreal’s Gay Village by our out-and-proud founder Dax Dasilva, but our first four employees were also all from the LGBT+ community. This perspective helped shape both our company culture and our approach to powering vibrant and diverse businesses through accessible technology.
