We are focused on ensuring the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of queer staff and clients at Russell McVeagh.

Our LGBTTI+ committee is focused on ensuring the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of queer staff and clients at Russell McVeagh through updates to policy, pride events and campaigns throughout the year, integration with the review and training programmes provided to the firm by Rainbow Tick and by feeding a LGBTTI+ perspective into the firm's HR, learning and development and other processes.

Some of the initiatives the LGBTTI+ D&I committee has undertaken over the past few years include:

  • The creation of email signature templates which enable staff to share their pronouns in email signatures;
  • The development of the firm's Gender Transitioning at Work Guidelines, which provide a pathway for staff and their managers to navigate and receive support while transitioning at work;
  • Development of Russell McVeagh/legal context specific training scenarios for LGBTTI+ competency trainings with Rainbow Tick
