The Property Group Limited (TPG) is a locally owned property and RMA planning consultancy, bringing Kiwis together to build Aotearoa New Zealand for over two decades. With a wealth of knowledge to learn from and longstanding client relationships, TPG offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your career in GIS.  We have a graduate GIS role available in Wellington or Hamilton, commencing in January 2025.

About our graduate development programme

Our graduate development philosophy is built around great relationships and collaboration – we have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share and are excited about the fresh ideas and perspectives our graduates bring. Our two-year programme provides TPG graduates with a breadth of exposure to our business and develops well-rounded consultants who can progress their career with us.  

About our graduate roles

Our national GIS team are a talented bunch. We have strong technical knowledge in developing geospatial solutions, understanding how they can be utilised from small to large scale property projects. We genuinely love sharing our expertise, knowledge, and passion with our developing GIS analysts. Our GIS team are key to providing results to our clients, collaborating closely with our consultants on important projects that impact all New Zealanders such as infrastructure, transport, housing, and education. Our graduates get involved in a range of client work, from identifying optimal site locations for development using spatial analysis, to creating bespoke geospatial web-based solutions for clients to manage large infrastructure projects. Eligibility and locations

To be eligible to apply, you will be a current or recent graduate (within the past two years). You will have an undergraduate degree in science or geography, with a relevant major or papers in GIS, or a relevant post-graduate qualification. We have an opportunity in our GIS team in our Wellington or Hamilton office, starting in January 2025.
