We are a law firm that embraces change and helps our clients grow, protect, operate and finance their organisation. This why we offer clients more than legal insight, we help them find business solutions to achieve your goals.

Building the law firm of the future now

We believe in being ‘in and of the community’ and are passionate about making a difference in New Zealand. Building the law firm of the future requires exceptional people, those who are challengers. With the opportunity to rotate between two teams over their time in the firm, providing a broader understanding of the work we do and how our teams operate.

What are we looking for?

If you are committed to fast tracking your future, then you can be confident that joining as a Graduate with Dentons Kensington Swan will give you what you need as you take the first steps in forging your career. If you are ambitious and ready to take on significant challenges from day one, we’d like to hear from you.

  • An individual who does what you say you'll do and be willing to help others
  • Hold a record of work experience (paid or voluntary), team involvement
  • Excelling in your law degree and have experienced challenges and successes both academically and in employment.

Individuality is prized just as much as willingness to collaborate or take responsibility. You can be confident that joining Dentons Kensington Swan as a Summer Clerk will provide you a pathway to becoming a recognised lawyer.

When would I join?

Our Summer Clerks join us in November and work up until mid-February in both the Wellington and Auckland offices.
As a Summer Clerk you would be given countless opportunities to learn and develop in an environment that is collaborative, challenging, forward-thinking, and values all our people at every stage in their career.

What do we offer?

We offer you the opportunity to be part of a positive and inclusive team that works in partnership with our clients and other teams locally and across the Dentons network, where you will get plenty of valuable experience and mentoring.
