Application Process & Interviews at Mars

Quite rigorous for my first time searching for a job out of unit

Was very full on, required a lot of attention/work.

The interview stages were thorough and instructions were clear throughout the entire process. The interviewer was also incredibly approachable and easy to talk to, which is often not the case with such a high application pool.

Intense but great experience overall, allowed me to be in a uncomfortable situation that allowed me to grow and learn

Why I would make a good fit, what I liked about the role, and why I want to join mars. Plus lots of previous work or university experience.

What was an example of a situation where I was faced with ambiguity.

Behavioural questions

Do your due diligence, they will hire the best fit for the job on the day. Think about how to stand out, they see hundreds of people all wanting the same thing. Come with confidence, but without arrogance.

Aim to make the interview more of a conversation rather than an interrogation.

The best way to approach each stage is to be the most authentic version of yourself, as soft/hard skills are important, but the real test that I found to be, was how well you would fit in to the company culture.

Think of various scenarios you have been through at work, Uni etc so you can adapt and change them to answer questions you are asked. Learn about the company your applying for so it shows you are really interested in the job
