The role

The Frequency Graduate Programme -  Te Akoranga Paetahi ō Frequency will lay the foundation for your professional and personal growth, giving you experience across the different facets of construction project management. It will provide the many skills you will need to thrive in the industry while providing a greater understanding of the impact of your work and decisions on others.

Designed to provide you with real-world experience, our two-year rotational programme will give you the opportunity to impact some of our nation's most critical infrastructure and construction projects, while also enabling you to determine where your passion lies.

Mentored by experienced industry leaders within Frequency, along with other learning and development activities, we will work closely with you to expand and grow your skills, and develop clear career goals.

In addition to the day-to-day real-world learning you'll take part in during the programme, you'll also take part in learning and development forums focusing on tuning in on skills that will stick with you right through your career.

Salary and Benefits

When you join Frequency as a Graduate, you aren't just joining for the duration of the programme. Whether it be buildings or infrastructure, controls or procurement, you'll find out what you have a true affinity for through the programme and where you want to focus your career. We believe in the power of flexibility, offering a range of options to accommodate your individual needs. Whether it's adjusting your work hours or remote working arrangements, we're here to support you in balancing your professional and personal commitments. Additionally, we understand the importance of rest and rejuvenation, which is why we provide an extra week of annul leave and encourage our team members to plan their leave in advance, ensuring they have the time they need to recharge and pursue their passions outside of work.

Graduate Success Stories

  • Graduate stories
I think a vast array of people can do project management. I think what you need to thrive in it is communication and people skills. Those are the most important. Having other administration skills and computer skills is helpful. The technical skills you can always learn, but having the right attitude and soft skills is really important.
