Culture at Frequency

9.4
9.4 rating for Culture, based on 9 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
In the office, everyone is very chill and easy to talk to. we are always having a laugh but are also serious when needed.

The culture is very inclusive and welcoming. Weekly we have team coffee to have a check-in and monthly there is a companywide meeting to check-in with all offices on project progress and out of office life achievements. We have structures in our office called diamonds, where there is a senior at the top, 2 associates in the middle and a graduate below - this forms the 'hierarchy' although it doesn't give off typical hierarchy vibes - it feels like we are equals in some way.

The working culture in our Wellington Office is very unique and social but very productive. We have a social club in the office run by 2 of our associates who arrange monthly social events for our office which we do after work. Additionally, every Monday morning, we have 9am office catchups to allow the team to get together and socialise over coffee to start off the week on a high note. Every Friday towards COB, we plan to have after work drinks to finish the week off on a good note also.

The people really make Frequency special; the teamwork and social culture is strong, we hot desk meaning you could be sitting next to anyone, and everyone is friendly and approachable. The Social Club also organises after work events.

Frequency has a really amazing group of people. From the get-go I felt welcome and supported by everyone in the business, not just those in my project team. It's as easy to sit down and chat with a partner as it is with a graduate, resulting in an awesome atmosphere full of cooperation. Everybody is there to support each other, and make sure we are all producing the best work we can.

We have a really good culture in and out of the office. Every Friday we go out for coffee and scones to catch up and get some time out of the office. We also often go out for a couple drinks after work some weeks if we have people in our office from another region. We are also trying to pre plan a couple of events for the next coming months including an escape room. When it comes to our culture there isn't a hierarchy in roles/colleagues, everyone can mingle with everyone without feeling as though they aren't superior enough.

The culture is fantastic. I can't really say it any other way. The people are great and everyone works as a team. There are no cliques and no egotistical people. I think it's a by-product of being selective when recruiting.

The culture is good, the people are genuine and is easy for anyone to come along and fit in. You can talk to anyone here and have a good conversation and actually get to know the people within the company all the way from fellow graduates to the senior associates and board members.
