Recently I was working with Terraform to build cloud infrastructure and I then applied it to my own project, and it made it better!

It’s really cool knowing the software you’re building is on the cutting edge of technology.

What I love most about my job is the challenge it provides. Errors occur daily, or troubleshooting and debugging are required to find where things have gone wrong. This provides a challenge of determining how things are working within a code base - and finding which behaviours are expected!

It feels powerful to spin up a dozen or more cloud resources in a few commands. And when I run them in a terminal, it looks like a part of a sci-fi movie.
