Some weeks can be monotonous but others can be great problem solving, it's a bit of a mix.

Within my team no two days are the same and I have a wide range of clients doing lots of different R&D work. The majority of my work focuses on writing GA's, creating costings documents and answering Callaghan / IRD questions.

Spreadsheets, Emails, PDF's and Teams calls

Resource management needs to be fixed. There are days with uncooked work yet we are hiring more people than ever

Can be mundane

Anything from Board minutes to Derivatives workpapers, it varies.

Lots of responsibility given quite early on

I enjoy most of my day-to-day responsibilities, but there are some areas that I would like to change as they aren't exactly what I want to be doing. However I am glad that I have learnt this in my role as it is good foundation learning

Last year was a very challenging year with lots of new learning. My day-day task consisted of assisting my engagement managers on whatever it is they needed assistance on.

I would say in the beginning it was good as everything was new and there was an element of excitement but now the job has become very repetitive and lacks excitement.
