7.4
7.4 rating for Training, based on 21 reviews
Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
There were many training courses to complete, though nothing could really prepare me as much as learning on the job. The best form of training I have received is by sitting next to a senior team member while working and asking them any questions I may have.

On the job training I have found to be much more helpful than the formal trainings. It is much easier to apply what you have learnt in a real life situation.

We can access most trainings that we wish by asking the seniors in our team

My team recently started an IGA specific fortnightly training which I have found extremely useful. It has taught me about all the areas that comprise the job I do. Because I sit with others in my team, I also receive a lot of on-the-job training.

Lots of formal and informal trainig of a high quality

Lots of trainings that are quite helpful

many weekly and semi-weekly trainings to do with audit in general, and the auditing software used.

While I think the trainings are useful and worth the time, I think that by doing the work and learning on the job is for me the best way to learn. Others may learn more through formal training.

Training is not super interactive so difficult to pay attention.

I think each team is different with trainings, but for my one I think they need to be more organised with them. It feels like no one is in charge of the trainings and sometimes the trainer forgets and doesn't show up to the training and they have to scramble to find someone to take it as there are 60-70 people waiting around

I feel that the trainings provided by KPMG is very good and of a high quality but in the first year I had many of trainings but now they are few and far between. I do however feel that they greatly improve the quality of my work.

Really good training programmes on offer. More that there's a lot of chargeable work so not much time to engage. Paid for upskilling/courses.
